HGV TECHNICIANS – IVER, BUCKINGHAMSHIRE

Who we are looking for

We are looking for people who are comfortable with carrying out MOT prep, preventative maintenance checks and general repairs on HGVs, Trucks and Trailers.

In addition to this, we are looking for people who have:

• A good understanding of DVSA regulations
• Fault-finding skills
• Commercial awareness

Advantageous experience:

• HGV NVQ Level 3 qualification
• Experience with DAF’s Scania, Mercedes and MAN’s

About the role
Type: Contract or “Temp to Perm” considered.
Location: Iver, Buckinghamshire
Salary: Circa £40,000 / £20 ph

Hours: 4 on 4 off days 

The main responsibility of the role is to carry out MOT prep, preventative maintenance checks and general repairs on a fleet of HGVs, Trucks and Trailers to ensure that they are roadworthy and up-to-date with changes to the HGV inspection manual.

The targets for the role are:

• To maintain above national average MOT pass rate
• Ensure projects are completed to agreed timeframes
• Ensure relevant paperwork is completed, legible and meets DVSA standards.
