DESIGN ENGINEER – WOKING
Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone:
- With 5+ years experience in a Design Engineer position
- Who is competent with Autodesk Inventor and/or Solidworks
- Who has experience with Sheet Metal and Welded products

The role will involve working as a Design Engineer for a manufacturing company that operates within the Civil and Military industries. The specifics of the role will vary depending on how experienced the successful candidate is, however, they will include:
- CAD detailing & Modelling including the production of concept drawings
- Technical support for companies product list in respect to drawings and part list
- Meetings with both clients and colleagues
- Monitoring project progression and keeping stakeholders updated
- Operating within the companies ISO quality system

Overview

Key Responsibilities

The role will involve
- Prepping and spraying furniture for the boats.
- Take responsibility for the painting process.
- Working with the Joinery department manager and Build manager to ensure the parts are taken through the paint department on time and to the correct quality.
- Plan the work through the paint shop.
- Have awareness of boat build completion dates and liaise with the Build Manager to ensure the completed boats are antifouled and the boot top, water lines and cove lines are completed.
