PAINT SPRAYER / FINISHER – ITCHENOR

Who we are looking for

We are looking for people who are experienced and competent in Paint Spraying. The role could be well suited to someone with experience in the Marine, Automotive or Aerospace industries and any prepping, fairing, filling and other related experience will be an advantage. The company currently have a smaller-sized team and they are looking for the right character profile to fit this team. A Team-player with good work ethic that is happy to much in with other trades when required.

We are looking for someone with the following skills:

• Ability and experience in all aspects of surface finishing in marine, auto or aviation industries
• Working to a high level of accuracy from drawings and work instructions
• Capable of following ISO9001 procedures and standards

About the role
Type: Contract and Perm considered
Salary: ~ £15ph / £30,000 (Dependent on experience)
Hours: TBC

The company, design, build and repair high-quality boats and tenders. Depending on the candidates experience the role will involve a combination of fairing, filling, prepping and spraying Sports, Leisure, Commercial and Military boats and their associated parts.

At present, the company’s paint spraying process is outsourced. The aim is to bring this in-house, however, this may take some time to accomplish. As such, initially, there may not be 5 full days a week of paint spraying that needs to be completed. With this in mind, in situations where all of the paint spraying is complete, the paint sprayer would be expected to muck in with the other trades (to what capacity will be discussed during the interview stage). The aim is to transition this role into a full-time paint spraying position.
