RF Field Engineers

What we are looking for
We are looking for RF Field Engineers to join a team operating within the cellular industry.
We are looking for Engineers who are proficient in RF data collection, including:

RF data collection/analysis software packages including TEMS, NEMO, Map Info.
RF data collection tools/equipment including Spectrum analyzer, frequency scanners, CW transmitters, Cable testers (non-exhaustive).
General handheld tools (e.g. for the swapping/installation of components).

Applicants will also need a full driving licence.

About the job
The core elements of the role revolve around the recording and analysis of RF data in the field, with a view to health checking or resolving faults on existing cellular installations, or alternatively proposing appropriate system upgrades or new cellular schemes.
The working environment is varied, with a combination of both field and office-based tasks, however, the role requires regular attendance at the companies Surrey offices.
A high proportion of the job requires lone working, although the ability to work as part of a team is also important as this will be required on larger projects, as interaction with other project engineers/installers/managers and administrators will be likely.
This role is frequently customer-facing and can strongly influence the company’s reputation.
Flexibility in working hours is a must, with a requirement for overnight stays on an ad hoc basis.
